The Association of Classified Employees, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 2250 is a labor union comprised of educational support personnel that promotes fairness, democracy, economic opportunity, high-quality public education, healthcare and public services for students, their families, and our communities.
Our mission is to protect our members by advocating for the vital services that keep our families safe and make our communities strong. This includes advocating for public service employees with fairness at the bargaining table, in the workplace, in our communities and in the halls of our government.
We are "nine chapters strong, united for one cause", striving for excellence in the public services; prosperity and opportunity for all working families; and to unite our members and the county to fulfill the promise of a public education that prepares every student to succeed in a diverse independent world.
