On Saturday, February 24, 11 cities will host the Working People’s Days of Action, including Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a rally taking place in Thomas Paine Plaza from 10 a.m. to noon.
This event comes one week before the United States Supreme Court will hear oral argument on Janus v. AFSCME Council 31, a case that threatens the labor movement with nationwide “right-to-work.” This is our last chance to make our voices heard by the Supreme Court Justices, and all of America. Attendance of AFSCME Council 13 members is strongly encouraged.
More information is forthcoming regarding buses to the event. Please contact your District Council if you are interested.
