What's happening Thursday?

Thursday at Convention will kick off with a New Delegate Workshop starting at 8:30 a.m. General Session will start at 10 a.m. The day of events will also include some very special guest speakers.
All new delegates are encouraged to attend to New Delegate Workshop, as well as anyone who needs a refresher or update on the electronic convention process. RSVP for New Delegates Workshop.
The Convention General Session will be called to order at 10 a.m. by President Chris Mabe. Delegates can log on starting at 9:45 a.m. General Session will begin by honoring our country with the presentation of colors, pledge, prayer and national anthem.
A highlight of the day will be special guest speaker Marty Walsh, the new U.S. Secretary of Labor and friend to workers, who will talk about the power of labor and the fight to build up union rights.
Delegates will also be joined by guests Cleveland Mayor, Frank Jackson, Franklin County Commissioner, Erica Crawley and our partners in Union Free College. There will also be an important presentation about the fight against extreme union busters, The Freedom Foundation.
Registration is open now for the Thursday afternoon virtual workshops. All sessions begin at 3 p.m. Any delegate, alternate and guest can attend. This is a great opportunity for participants to talk, network and collaborate with other participants as all workshops are presented in typical Zoom meeting format. RSVP now:
