Resolutions help set union direction

The Resolutions Committee, led by Chair Deborah Weaver and Co-Chair Sherry Little, met Thursday morning before General Session and considered Resolutions. They were presented to the delegation and passed by the body.
Those resolutions were in support of telework; the use of new technologies; the vital work of public-sector employees during the pandemic; the launch of the Member Resource Center; the importance of leadership development and member benefits; and the use of Zoom to reach new members via New Employee Orientations. The committee also considered a resolution making subordinate bodies whole in terms of their rebate if they were unable to hold safe meetings or elections last year.
The resolutions were then heard on the convention floor Thursday afternoon and voted on by the delegates. All resolutions were approved by the convention delegates as presented by the Resolutions Committee. View all Resolutions under Delegate Resources.
