The Ohio AFL-CIO is hosting Union Night with the Dropkick Murphys in Columbus on August 23. Tickets are $50 and include a special union pre-show party.

The Dropkick Murphys show, co-headlined with Rancid, will be held at Express Live in Columbus, where workers recently organized with The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE).

Union members and guests will get early entrance to the show to get close to the stage if they prefer. Doors are open at 6 p.m. The union pre-show party will start at 4 p.m. at the bar next door to Express Live called the Basement. To purchase tickets, email [email protected] with the subject: DKM.

The Dropkick Murphys are card-carrying union members of AFM Local 9-535 in Boston and are widely known for supporting working class and union causes. You may have recognized their music during this year's convention.

In addition, the band has also designed an exclusive shirt. That shirt will be available to all OCSEA convention attendees who complete a convention survey. Click to complete the survey.
