Pre-pandemic, the OCSEA 34th Biennial Convention was to be held in the City of Cleveland. Unfortunately that was unable to happen. Despite being virtual, Mayor Frank Jackson, mayor of Cleveland, will still open convention with a welcome to all delegates.

Mayor Jackson loves the City of Cleveland and the people in it. The Mayor is in his fourth term in office and has led the effort to revitalize the City of Cleveland and by making connections between people and opportunities, education and jobs, social services and health care, and retail and arts and culture. Under his leadership, Cleveland is transforming into a diverse and vibrant city full of opportunities, jobs and community connections.
