On Thursday March 27 your SPSCC Exempt Bargaining Team met for the first time with management to negotiate the terms of your Union contract. The tone was professional and pleasant and we believe the stage is set for a productive series of negotiations. Management did not show up with any proposals, but they appear eager to work with us to make much needed improvements to your working conditions.
We look forward to hearing from you! A survey went out recently and we have extended the deadline to close of business April 4. This survey is how we find out about your most important issues and priorities. Please respond as quickly as you can because the time you spend on it is vital in helping the team meet your interests. Our next meeting with management is Thursday April 10 and we need some time to analyze your input.

Please stay tuned for further updates and do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions and concerns.
While we are negotiating a strong contract for you, anything we negotiate could be threatened by our current economic environment. Take a moment to share your voice and tell our elected officials to say NO to furloughs and fund our contracts!
