AFSCME 189-represented employees may apply for funds to pay for classes and trainings that further professional development. The cap allowance for the fiscal year is $3000 per employee. Trainings required as part of your employment must be funded solely by the City and are not eligible for these funds. See Article 33 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for details.
