Our union is a national leader in advocating for quality early childhood education. Each year, millions of parents across the nation entrust AFSCME members with the education and care of their children. We teach and care for America’s next generation in schools, homes, and community-based organizations (CBO), including the nation’s largest UPK program in New York City. It is our belief that every child deserves quality care and education to ensure a brighter and stronger America.
