SB135 - Law created to allow state employees the right to collectively bargain over changes to wages, working conditions and other imporant issues. 

AB348 - Law created to protect health care and mental health care workers from workplace violence 

AB183 - Law created to prevent the privatization of state prisons, protecting NDOC jobs from privatization 

AB456 - Law raising state minimum wage to 

Defeated a bill that would remove overtime pay for certain state employees  

In the 2019-2021 biannual budget, we were able to include:

• 3% wage increase for all state employees, for fiscal year 2019
• Additional 5% wage increase for Forensic Specialists, to address pay disparity, for fiscal year 2019 
  
• Increased employer contribution to PEBP, at zero employee contribution increase to health insurance premiums, for fiscal year 2019
