2021 Legislative Session

The 81st Nevada legislative session adjourned sine die as May passed into June, with some good, pro-worker legislation passed. Below are victories of AFSCME Local 4041 priorities:

2020 Special Legislative Session

During the 2020 Special Legislative Session to address budget shortfalls, AFSCME Local 4041 members exercised our collective power to reduce furloughs, reinstate merit pay, and save jobs.

2019 Legislative Session

During the 80th Legislative Session in 2019, AFSCME member took action to advocate for legislation that would improve our working conditions and our communities. By calling and writing out legislators, packing hearing rooms, and sharing testimony about our work and lives, we were able to help pass important legislation, including a bill that allows state employees to collectively bargain.
