As we wrap up 2023, members of AFSCME Local 4041 release their 2023 legislative scorecard, grading Nevada state legislators on how well they upheld pro-worker legislation. Tracking and scoring legislator votes is one of many ways AFSCME members hold our elected leaders accountable. This scorecard is a good reminder as we head into 2024 that who we elect really does make a difference.  

"As state employees, no one counts on pro-worker legislators more than we do. In addition to wins at the bargaining table, AFSCME members won big for Nevada state employees at the legislature. We thank the legislators who supported state employees by championing our priorities this session, helping deliver historic wage increases for Nevada’s public workers,” Rosina Barrientos, AFSCME Local 4041 member and state employee.  

AFSCME’s scorecard measures support for state workers by votes on legislation that improved working conditions or collective bargaining rights for Nevada state employees.
