This week, the state will be paying out our Q1 2024 retention bonus. If you are covered under the current AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement, that bonus is $500.
And if you’ve been a state employee for more than 8 consecutive years, you’ll see your first longevity pay award for 2024. If you are covered under the AFSCME CBA, you’ll see both the December longevity pay award and the first longevity pay award for 2024 – as we reached a deal with the state earlier this year to ensure adherence to AB522.
