2019 will be AFSCME Texas Retirees most significant year yet. We will be expanding our organizing efforts to identify public service retirees across the state who will strengthen our “voice” to secure our retirement. We will again have a robust legislative agenda to protect our pensions.  Last, but not least importantly, we will be hosting our 2019 Biennial convention, justly titled “Take Control of Your Pension” in Austin, Texas on March 1, 2019.
