The Local 1549 constitution committee has met and proposed amendments to the local’s constitution. The administrators sent the committee’s proposals to AFSCME President Lee Saunders, and they have been pre-approved pending approval of the vote of the membership.
The administrators and staff will conduct, first and second readings, as well as the vote, on the proposed amendments to the Local 1549 Constitution. Below are the dates, times and locations of the meetings as well as voting information for the ratification of the amendments. These special membership meetings and ratification vote are open to all members of Local 1549 who are in good standing.

If you submit your vote electronically or at one of the in-person voting sites, there is no need to attend any additional in-person meetings.
