Book Club (hybrid)

Starting September 10th, our new book club will meet every other Wednesday from 1–2pm to read and discuss No Shortcuts: Organizing for Power in the New Gilded Age by the late Jane McAlevey. The meetings will be hybrid at Gotham and online (please reach out if you are interested in hosting in-person meetings at another worksite!). Together, we'll take a closer look at what effective organizing looks like—what's worked, what hasn't, how it applies to our own union. This is a chance to connect with fellow members, examine real-world organizing strategies, and strengthen our approach to building worker power from the ground up.
